I wanted to share a little more about the business, what I love creating and the family behind it. So here’s your chance to meet the woman behind all that pink!
Welcome to Whiff Of Wonder
Whiff Of Wonder brings together my love of home fragrance and my love of designing something personal. I want the things I create to be enjoyable to use, lovely to give and made with care. From a wax melt for a cosy evening to a print chosen for someone special, there’s a real person behind it all.
I’m based in West Yorkshire and send orders across the UK. Whether you found me through the website, Facebook or TikTok Shop, thank you for taking the time to get to know my small business.
A small business with a personal reason
I’m a boy mum to Toby, who is nearly 17. He’s the biggest reason I put so much into Whiff Of Wonder. I’m working towards a better life for my son, while building something of my own that I can be proud of.
Alongside running the business, I also work in a care home. Fitting everything around work and family life can be a juggle. There are busy days and late evenings, but I love having the chance to make and design things that people choose for their homes or as gifts.
Handmade home fragrance from West Yorkshire
Home fragrance is a part of Whiff Of Wonder that I love working on. I enjoy making our wax melts and putting together a range of scents for different tastes, moods and seasons. My aim is to create highly scented, long-lasting products that you’ll enjoy using at home.
Our home fragrance range includes wax melt bars, sample wax melts, bundles, room sprays, carpet freshener and Hoover discs. Whether you enjoy fresh laundry scents, sweet and fruity fragrances or something warm for autumn and winter, there are different ways to explore the range.
I make our home fragrance in small batches. As the person doing the making, I’m involved in the work from preparing the products to labelling and packing them. That hands-on part of the business matters to me, and it’s something I’m proud to share with you.
What I want you to enjoy
My aim with home fragrance is simple: lovely scents that you look forward to using. I focus on highly scented, long-lasting products, with choices for freshening your space or making an evening at home feel a little more cosy.
On the personalised side, I want to help you choose something that feels right for the person receiving it. The scent, design or personal detail can turn an everyday purchase into a thoughtful little treat.
From a new idea to a finished product
I love the creative stage, whether I’m planning home fragrance or working on a print. Seasonal collections give me a chance to explore different ideas, while personalised designs let me work on something chosen for an individual customer.
The work carries on after the idea: making or designing, preparing the finished items, labelling where needed and packing your order. I do those jobs myself, so I get to see a product through each stage.
Care in the making and the details
Running a small business means the little details are my responsibility. For home fragrance, that includes the product and its labelling; for personalised gifts, it includes the names and details that make your order yours.
When ordering a personalised item, please check the spelling and information you send. If you’re unsure what to provide, message me before ordering so we can make sure you have the right details.
Personalised prints and gifts made for your moments
I also love designing and creating our personalised prints and gifts. Working on a design, adding the personal details and seeing the finished piece come together is one of my favourite parts of the job.
The range gives me the chance to create for birthdays, Christmas and other special occasions, as well as keepsakes to remember someone important. A name or personal detail can make a gift feel that little bit more thoughtful.
Our shipping label gift tags add a finishing touch to your parcels and presents, while our colouring books are another side of the business where I get to enjoy designing and creating.
Why Whiff Of Wonder is pink
If you’ve spent any time on our website or social pages, you’ll already know I love pink! It’s my favourite colour, which is exactly why it became such a big part of the branding. I wanted my small business to feel like me, and pink was always going to be part of that.
The person behind your parcel
There’s one person doing the work behind Whiff Of Wonder: me. I come up with ideas, design products, make our home fragrance, print personalised orders and colouring books, and pack everything ready to send.
Some days I’m making and labelling; others I’m designing, printing or working through orders. There’s always something to do, and I love seeing an idea turn into a finished product. When you order, you’re supporting the same person who makes or designs your items and packs your parcel.
Looking after your order from browsing to delivery
I want shopping with Whiff Of Wonder to feel personal and straightforward. Product descriptions help you choose, and I’m happy to hear from you if you have a question about a design, fragrance or personalisation.
Packing is part of my working day too. I prepare your items for their journey, whether you’ve ordered a gift to give someone else or something just for yourself. Please check the current dispatch and delivery information when placing an order.
Product information and thoughtful packaging
Clear information matters when you buy handmade products. Please read the product description, directions and any warning labels before use, and keep the relevant packaging or label for reference. You can also find fragrance safety information on our CLP page.
After unpacking your order, reuse packaging that’s suitable to use again and check local recycling guidance for each material. If you want more detail about a particular product or its packaging before buying, please ask me.
Meet Lola and Charlie
Then there are my other two babies, Lola and Charlie! My two French Bulldogs are a huge part of our family, so they had to have a place in this introduction too.
A little about life away from the business
I love music and watching the soaps. I’m also a Liverpool fan, while Toby supports Manchester City, so football definitely gives us something to disagree about!
And if you’re picturing me working on a new design with tea or coffee, swap that for a can of Boost. That’s much more me!

Getting the most from your home fragrance
Keep unused wax melts somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight. Follow the instructions for your burner and the product, and use the amount recommended for your warmer. Each home fragrance product has its own directions, so check the label rather than treating every product in the same way.
